Online Degrees -- why bother?

Ok, Who's got time to get a college degree these days? But who can afford not to?
College graduates earn 75% more income than high school graduates!!!.

Web-based technologies provide a distance learning platform over which to earn an online degree. As a result many colleges and universities have adapted their business models to cater to distance learning students. Online students are no longer limited and constrained by the physical nature of traditional learning methods. Instead the new breed of online students can complete and earn their degrees at their own pace.

However, online learning is not for everyone. Its chief benefit, flexibility, can also be a weakness. Students that work well independently and have the discipline and motivation to complete their online degrees will do best. The actual cost of online courses and degrees varies by colleges and universities, and also by programs. Good luck with furthering your education!
